Tender Description
Maranoa Regional Council invites Expressions of Interest (for the purpose of short listing prior to proceeding to a tender process) for the lease or purchase of vacant industrial land for development in Sophia and Grace Streets Mitchell QLD 4465.
The land is specifically described as Lots 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34 and 35 on M15119 and is vacant industrial land located on the western outskirts of Mitchell QLD 4465.
While Grace Street is a gazetted road, no formed road or track has been constructed. Parties should note that Council has no plans to upgrade Grace Street.
The reason for having an expression of interest process as the first step is because Council’s primary focus is on the economic development potential of this land for the maximum benefit of the Mitchell community.
Part 3, the Specification, defines the details of the properties offered.
After the evaluation of the Expression of Interest submissions, Council may prepare a short list of the respondents and invite written tenders from those respondents.
If Council approves a successful Tenderer, then Council will enter into a contract of sale or lease with that Tenderer, if terms and conditions are agreed.
Council is under no obligation to accept any submission.
