Tender Description
Chichester Dam has 93 tendons on the dam wall to connect the concrete dam body to the rock foundation. The dam relies on these tendons to meet the design stability. These tendons need regular maintenance and access to the tendons on the north abutment wall is through a specially designed trolley. Currently, the trolley is left in the open air on the north abutment and subject to weathering condition which can cause corrosion to the metal components. A storage shed is required for easy access of the trolley and also provide shelter to protect the trolley from corrosion.
