Disposal of Assets - Lease of 2 adjoining meeting rooms

⁠⁠⁠Leasing of two (2) adjoining meeting rooms located in the Community Centre as a Gymnasium.

The Shire is looking to enter into a lease agreement for the adjoining meeting rooms in the Community Centre to be used as a gymnasium.

The following is the regulatory obligations that eh Shire must advertise in seeking relevant submissions:

The Local Government Act 1995 provides that a local government wishing to lease any property does so under Section 3.58.

1. 2 adjoining meeting rooms at the Community Centre;
2. Lease between The Shire of Toodyay and B2BFitness;
3. For a rental amount of $1600.00 per month;
4. The official valuation of the described premises is $1600.00 per month plus GST if applicable.

Your views on the proposal are welcome and written submissions on the deposition of this asset must be lodged with the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Toodyay, PO Box 96 Toodyay 6566, by 4.00pm Tuesday, 2 March 2021.
