Disposal of Assets - Lease of Charcoal Lane Car Park

⁠⁠⁠Section of open carparking area consisting of 14 car parking bays in the Charcoal Lane car park

The Shire is looking to enter into a lease agreement for 14 car parking bays in the Charcoal Lane car park to be used as a point of collection for the Container Deposit Scheme. The following is the regulatory obligations that the Shire must advertise in seeking relevant submissions:

The Local Government Act 1995 provides that a local government wishing to lease any property does so under Section 3.58.

1. Section of open carparking area consisting of 14 car parking bays in the Charcoal Lane car park;
2. Lease between The Shire of Toodyay and Xtreme Rhino Enterprises;
3. For a rental amount of $150 per month;
4. The official valuation of the described premises is $150.00 per month plus GST if applicable.

Your views on the proposal are welcome and written submissions on the deposition of this asset must be lodged with the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Toodyay, PO Box 96 Toodyay 6566, by 4.00pm Tuesday, 2 March 2021.
