Cinema Seats

⁠⁠⁠Narrabri Shire Council seeks Expressions of Interest for the purchase of the old cinema seating from The Crossing Theatre, Narrabri.

The seats were manufactured in 2003 and are in varying conditions. The seats are stored at The Crossing Theatre, 117 Tibbereena Street, Narrabri and are available to be inspected by appointment only.

The available seating comprises the following:
• 160 seats, green in colour, made up of the following banks of chairs;
- 11 banks of 5 seats, with 3 legs per bank
- 14 banks of 4 seats, with 2 legs per bank
- 2 banks of 2 seats, with 2 legs per bank

• 80 seats, purple in colour, made up of the following banks of chairs
- 2 banks of 5 seats, with 3 legs per bank
- 17 banks of 4 seats, with 2 legs per bank
- 1 bank of 2 seats, with 2 legs per bank

Please note the following information regarding the available seating:
• Seats are not freestanding and need to be secured to the floor prior to use.
• Transport of the seats will be at the purchaser’s expense.
• Seats are required to be collected by Wednesday 10 March 2021
• Council makes no guarantee as to the suitability of the seats, the purchaser agrees to waive Council of any responsibilities or liabilities associated with the use of the seats.

• Date of Pickup

Acceptance and Engagement

Council will advise you whether you are successful or not through this process. Council is under no obligation to accept any Expression of Interest.
Written submissions will be received up to 4.00pm Friday 26 February 2021 and should be addressed to the Building and Maintenance Coordinator, Narrabri Shire Council, PO Box 261, Narrabri NSW 2390, emailed to council@narrabri.nsw.gov.au or delivered in person to Council’s Administration Building, 46-48 Maitland Street, Narrabri.
