Tender Description
This contract comprises of works at Whininaki Valley Rd, Lake Ohakuri and Hamurana Reserve, Lake Rotorua for the construction of replacing two jetties with ramps.
The works will be completed under the current resource consent.
Due to the works being under taken over the summer period the maximum period for site closure is 3 weeks or 21 calendar days per site.
The works need to be scheduled during the following time periods to avoid public holidays and wildlife seasons.
Hamurana site Valley site to be programmed and complete prior to 1st May 2021.
Whirinaki Valley site to be programmed and completed before Easter weekend 2021.
We are asking for an extension from Fish and Game to complete works within the trout spawning season. This is not guaranteed and potentially will only be one site
The Contractor is responsible for all works detailed on the construction drawings.
Tenderers are advised that the Principal reserves the right to vary the scale of the works to fit within the constraints of the available funding for this project. There shall be no claim for a variation, as a result of any change to the scale of the works.
