User research - major website development project

⁠⁠⁠We are commencing the discovery phase for a redevelopment of our major websites in line with the Digital Service Standard. This includes an overhaul of large volumes of online content across the agriculture, water and environment portfolio over several years.

As a User Researcher, you will design and implement the user research strategy on this large-scale project.

During Discovery stage, you will work closely with the Content Strategist to set the direction for understanding user needs. You will identify business objectives, design targeted research activities and create a strong evidence base that will inform priorities, approach and outcomes for future stages of the project.

In Alpha and Beta stages you will define and undertake research sprints with a deeper focus on users of specific segments of the service. Outcomes of this research will inform the strategic direction of prototypes, content sprints and beta release for each website segment.
