The City of Cockburn (The Principal) is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractor(s) to undertake the construction of Stage 3 of the Port Coogee Marina to be built at Maraboo Island in North Coogee in 2021.

The works involve two separate Works Packages taking the form of Separable Portions, being:

Works Package 1 (Separable Portion 1): Construction of a boardwalk, gatehouses, loading berth, car park modification and associated electrical, communications, fire and hydraulic services.
Works Package 2 (Separable Portion 2): Design and construction of a 70 berth floating marina jetty system including associated services
The Principal may either award all works (Separable Portions 1 and 2) to the one Tenderer, or otherwise award each Separable Portion to two different Tenderers on the basis of quality and value-for-money considerations.

Respondents are invited to submit a Tender for either one or both works packages as they deem fit according to their capabilities. Refer to Section 3 and Section 4 for further instructions and details as to making a Tender submission.

All services shall be executed to the satisfaction of the Superintendent in accordance with the Contract, this Specification, and the Contracted Schedule of Rates along with any work instruction issued by the Superintendent.

TENDER BRIEFING/SITE INSPECTION – MANDATORY

Attendance at this meeting is mandatory.

Failure to attend this briefing will render the Tenderer ineligible to submit a Tender.

Tenderers are required to attend a Tender briefing on:

Wednesday 3 February from 10:00 am to 11:00 am (AWST).
The location of the meeting is at:

Port Coogee Marina – 5 Maraboo Loop, North Coogee WA 6163
The briefing will provide Tenderers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the Principal prior to the closing of the Tender.
