Provision of Property Clean Ups, Demolitions and/or Building Works

The Yarra Ranges Shire Council ABN 21 973 226 012 (‘Council’) invites tenders from suitably experienced and resourced parties for the Provision of Property Clean Ups, Demolitions and/or Building Works (‘the Services’).

The Contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with Council having two (2) options to extend the Contract by (2) years each, a possible total maximum contract term of seven (7) years.

Council intends to establish a panel of contractors, selecting a number of contractors for each of the following category of works; Property & Site Clean Ups, Demolitions, Demolitions and Rebuilds and Building works.

Council reserves the right at its discretion, to invite the Contractor to submit a quotation either on its own in in competition with other panel incumbents

The Contractor shall not be entitled to any additional payment for the preparation and submission of any quotation.

Where more than one (1) tenderer is selected in any Category, contractors may be awarded work based on price and availability.
Tenderers are not guaranteed any work under this panel contract.

Please refer to Clause 8.8 of the General Conditions of Contract in this tender document – Where the scope of this contract involves construction works, Council appoints the Contractor as principal contractor for the construction work performed for or on behalf of the Council and authorises the Contractor to manage or control the workplace to the extent necessary to discharge the duties imposed on the Council as defined in the OHS Regulations etc.
