ABOUT THE COUNCIL: Gilgandra is located in the central west of New South Wales approximately half way between Melbourne and Brisbane and approximately 45 minutes north of the regional centre of Dubbo. Gilgandra has a population of 2700 people with 4700 living in the district.
ABOUT THIS EOI: Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced architects and their sub-consultants to prepare two detailed concept designs and cost estimates for a new multipurpose sports facility and public swimming pool to be located within Hunter Park, Gilgandra.
The concept design will inform Council's financial planning processes providing the basis of future grant funding opportunities. Council is not looking at detailed designs for the purpose of construction, however is seeking a level of detail that has considered all aspects of the development which can be easily transitioned into a detailed design when the time arises.
