Pre-release notice - Early Works Packages

⁠⁠⁠The Australian War Memorial is notifying interested parties of the intent to release Requests for Tender for four (4) Early Works Packages for the Development Project.

Important Note—Respondents should note that project remains subject to the following Australian Government approvals:

a. Parliamentary Approval through the Public Works Committee process; and

b. National Capital Authority Works Approval.

The Memorial does not guarantee that these approvals will be secured. Should any approvals not be secured, and without limiting any other right set out in any of the RFTs, the Memorial may terminate an RFT process. If the process is terminated, the Memorial is not liable for any costs incurred in reliance on any of the RFTs or associated with the preparation of any Response.

The scope of these Requests for Tender involve civil, excavation, services relocation, and other works to prepare for the Main Works Packages.

The four (4) Early Works Requests for Tender are expected to be issued in mid-February 2021.
