Queensland Rail would like to notify Contractors of the intention to release an open market tender for the Mount Isa Line Waterway Resilience Program in mid-January 2021. The tender will include a mandatory site inspection in February 2021 (dates to be confirmed).

The Scope of Work involves the Design and Construction of bridgeworks at several locations involving four (4) Separable Portions as listed below:

• SP1 - Chatfield Creek #1
• SP2 - Chatfield Creek #2
• SP3 - Corella Creek
• SP 4 - Eastern Creek

The Level of Prequalification required according to TMR National Prequalification System for Civil Construction Contracts, December 2019, are as follows:

Contractor:

Road – R2
Bridges – B3
Financial – F20

Designer:

Bridges - BD3
Geotech – GE3
Hydraulic - HD2

The Contractor will also be required to hold Queensland Rail Safety and Environment Pre-qualification – Category 1.
