Expression of Interest - Public Art Project: Hurstville Interchange Open Air Gallery, Lunar New Year 2021
Georges River Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from Asian-Australian artists/teams of artists for the creation and installation of a temporary public artwork in Hurstville Interchange Open Air Gallery to celebrate Lunar New Year, 2021. The aim of the project is to celebrate our diverse community by increasing the cultural vibrancy of Hurstville CBD.
The project includes concept development, design and installation for a temporary piece of public art. The installation should respond to the themes of Lunar New Year, Year of the Ox, linking in with the vision for Hurstville as the Heart of the City. The site consists of 3 marine ply boards measuring 2440mm x 2440mm each.
