Tender Description
The acquisition of professional services from a fire safety provider is required to ensure SAHT properties comply with the relevant Australian Buildings Code and Australian Standards for Fire Safety. Such compliance requirements may vary depending upon property use, but may include:
- provision of fire safety equipment installation and maintenance services;
- provision of reports and recommendations to the Authority;
- programmed servicing of fire safety equipment to comply with legislative standards;
- responsive maintenance of fire safety equipment where defective equipment is reported;
- decommissioning of fire safety equipment when property use changes or equipment becomes obsolete;
- compliance with legislative reporting requirements; and
- provision of training of the Authority’s representatives in the use of fire safety equipment.
