Tender Description
Byron Shire Council is launching a pilot program to allow approved businesses to use car parking spaces between 5pm and 11pm as an extension of their trading area.
Businesses are invited to submit an expression of interest outlining their plan and vision using the online expression of interest form.
The program is available within town centres throughout the Shire, with the exception of Mullumbimby where there is a separate pilot program underway in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce.
It is expected to provide a range of benefits including:
- vibrancy and interest in the streetscape
- economic benefits
- help businesses meet COVID-19 requirements.
