Tender Description
The Healthy Coorong Healthy Basin Program requires engineering feasibility investigations and concept designs to be undertaken for several infrastructure options with the aim of improving the ecological health of the Coorong. The broad engineering sub discipline categories of the investigative works sought include:
- desktop reviews and report writing
- peer reviews and attendances at workshops,
- energy supply design
- economic analysis and estimating
- hydrodynamic and wave modelling
- bathymetry surveys, geotechnical investigations, geophysical surveys
- mechanical and hydraulic design
- land surveys
On-ground investigations will be required in the region of the Coorong North and South Lagoons, Lake Albert and the South East region (Kingston to Robe) in South Australia.
The objectives and outcomes from the investigations will enable the Department for Environment and Water (DEW) to determine which infrastructure options should proceed towards the development of a business case(s) for consideration by the Australian Government.
