Tender Description
The Board of Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium (BGSH) requires the services of a professional specialist therapeutic horticulturalist to create a new bespoke, best practice, adult Health and Wellbeing Programme, based at the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium.
The horticultural therapist will have the specialist skills, experience and capability to develop and deliver an impactful therapeutic horticulture programme for special needs groups including, but not limited to, those with dementia, anxiety and depression, sight impairment and other physical disabilities.
Key functions include:
- Programme planning;
- Delivery and evaluation;
- Teaching horticultural tasks;
- Creating and maintaining new partnerships with the view to developing an ongoing programme.
- Meeting all scheduled milestones as agreed with the BGSH.
