Home Support Shopping Services

⁠⁠⁠The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of Home Support Shopping Services (the Services) for the period 11 January 2021 to 30 June 2022. The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.

The Services form part of the Council's Commonwealth Home Support program range of services,

The Home Support Shopping Service delivers a range of services to meet older citizens shopping needs. These services include

• Transport to the Local Shopping Centre – This is a door to door services that takes clients to their local shopping centre to undertake their shopping .
• Escorted Shopping- This is a door to door service for clients who need assistance to complete their shopping. The worker accompanies the client to the shopping centre and assists them to do their shopping.
• Shopping List – This service is for clients who are unable to go out to do their shopping. The worker will do their shopping for them and deliver it to their home afterwards.

The services are provided on either a fortnightly or weekly basis.

The delivery of services will be done in partnership with the Council. The Council will be responsible for the co-ordination of the services. The successful tenderer will be responsible for services delivery. This will entail the successful tenderer supplying suitably skilled workers for the delivery of these services.
