The Department of Resources is seeking a Contractor to provide all goods and services associated with collapsed mine shaft remediation, investigations, monitoring and maintenance within the Gympie region (200km radius of Gympie).

This EOI is seeking a suitably qualified contractor with quality civil, building, and associated trades experience, with on the ground resources and subcontractors capable of emergency response and rectification work to a high standard.

State of Queensland is committed to historic mine shaft collapse rectification works that may occur under existing houses, commercial property or on private or government land, local government or state-owned roadways.

Suppliers will be required to respond to this EOI focusing on the overall program objectives, anticipated deliverables, ability to achieve service standards and quality of their Safety Management System as identified in Section 2 of this EOI.

This EOI is not intended to cover any lump sum cost for services, and while estimated quantities for services are listed, no guarantees are made due to the unknown nature of mine shaft collapse.
