⁠⁠⁠McKinlay Shire Council is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Agistment of Kynuna Road Paddock No. 3.

General Information on Kynuna Road Paddock No. 3 is as detailed below:

Duration – The Paddock will be agisted until 30th June 2022.
Area – approximately 2.55Ha;
Fencing – good condition;
Water – available by trough;
Grass – no cover - Applicants should carry out a site visit prior to submitting this EOI.
Applicants should note that;

Council reserves the right to give the applicant fourteen (14) days notice to remove all stock and improvements should they fail to abide by the conditions of this agreement; and
The Applicant may relinquish the paddock by giving Council one (1) month notice in writing.
The paddock is available for Agistment from McKinlay Shire Council on the following basis:

Expressions of Interest is for the nominated paddock only;
Applicants must be a resident of the urban areas of McKinlay Shire – specifically Julia Creek, McKinlay, Kynuna or Nelia.
The Agistment fee is set at $51.92 per month and will be billed monthly in advance. The annual CPI Increase will apply after the first year.
The occupier is responsible for:
Feeding and watering of stock on a day to day basis;
General maintenance and repairs to fencing, water troughs and any other structures that is damaged by the tenant and/or stock;
Tick treatment and PIC management as required; and
Animal husbandry requirements.

The successful EOI will be selected by ballot. EOI CLOSES at 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday, 27 January 2021.
