Tender Description
Waka Kotahi works hard to help New Zealanders make great transport choices and stay safe on our roads. We cover everything from building and maintaining roads and making sure vehicles are up to standard, to teaching people how to drive and engaging with
communities on their transport needs.
We're the government agency responsible for regulating New Zealand’s roads and road usage.
What we need
We’re seeking information on smart communication tools to help us create, improve and deliver our automated, high-volume customer communications.
We’re looking for a tool that:
- is smart, modern and digital-focused
- is centred around creating bulk communications
- fully automates communication creation and delivery
- is easy to use across our entire organisation
- is easy to support
- can handle regular, high volumes efficiently
- allows us to customise each individual communication based on customer data and business rules
- accepts data in multiple formats
- produces communications in multiple formats
- can also handle smaller, one-off, even-driven document creation.
The main way we produce our high-volume communications today involves passing customer data from our registers through document templates, to create and send posted letters or emails.
Examples you may be familiar with include vehicle licence (rego) reminders, driver licence reminders or road user charges (RUC) invoices.
We’re creating approximately 12.6 million of these types of communications (8.4 million posted letters and 4.1 million emails) per year with our current tool. We have a growing demand for more and more of our communications to be automated in this way.
We’d like to understand how your tool/application can help us achieve and improve our current communication creation and delivery, as well as any other modern communication opportunities you could offer, particularly from a digital perspective.
