Ticketing Device Wraps Maintenance

⁠⁠⁠Purpose

TransLink’s Smart Ticketing project is Queensland’s largest innovation investment and will include the replacement of all ticketing devices across the network. In keeping with the project’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, TransLink are seeking to engage a specialist supplier of outdoor livery to maintain the wraps on the new platform validators (PV's) and gates ensuring they are in good condition, highly visible and can easily attract, maintain and regain the attention of customers, including those with vision or colour impairment, needing to tap on or off at their relevant stations. The wrapped platform validators and gates also provide a key source for customer education, engagement and instructional design.

Objectives

Ticketing devices are deployed across the light and heavy rail networks in South East Queensland, these devices have been wrapped to provide both a protective layer and to support the branding objectives of TMR. There is an ongoing requirement to provide repair and maintenance to the installed wraps across the networks to cover both wear and tear as well as damage through vandalism and accident.
