Temora Shire Council is calling for written expressions of interest for the lease of the:o Temora Caravan Park, 19-21 Junee Road, Temora Temora Airfield Tourist Park, Tigermoth Avenue.

The Temora Caravan Park consists of:
· 22 powered sites
· 12 non-powered camping sites
· Electric BBQ
· Fully equipped amenities building (incorporating laundry)
· Landscaped grounds (with irrigation)

Temora Airfield Tourist Park consists of:
· Self contained and bunk style cabins
· 52 powered caravan sites
· 8 powered tent sites
· 50 non-powered caravan and camping sites
· Camp Kitchen/BBQ Facility
· Fully equipped amenities building (including laundry)

Council is considering leasing both facilities to an enthusiastic and energetic person to operate in a more dynamic manner, in a town that is fast becoming a leading tourism attractor in Riverina NSW.

A written Expression of Interest, in the form of a letter or email, addressed to the General Manager, should be submitted to Council prior to Friday 18th December 2020.

In early January 2021, Council will provide further information to interested person(s), including current financial data, as well as seeking pro-posed operational information from prospective leaseholders, in the form of a tender and discussions.
Council will then determine whether to proceed with the lease of the caravan parks, based on the information provided and discussions held. Only persons registering a written Expression of Interest will be permitted to participate in the subsequent discussion/tender process.
