EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Fremantle Ports is offering a lease of the site known as Lot N52J Tydeman Road located on the corner of Tydeman Road and Port Beach Road in North Fremantle. The site is being offered for port related activities.

INTRODUCTION
Fremantle Ports is a Western Australian Government owned trading enterprise responsible for the strategic management of the Port of Fremantle, which is the largest general cargo port in Western Australia. The Port is a significant contributor to the State's economy, currently handling around 91 percent of the value of the State's sea imports and 30 percent of exports. Most of the State's consumer goods pass through Fremantle's Inner Harbour container cargo operations.

The Port of Fremantle operates the Inner Harbour at Fremantle and the Outer Harbour, south of Kwinana.

The Fremantle Inner Harbour provides modern deep-water facilities for handling container Trade, break-bulk vessels, livestock exports and motor vehicle imports. It also accommodates cruise ships and visiting navy vessels.

The Kwinana Outer Harbour is one of Australia's major bulk cargo ports, handling grain, petroleum, liquefied petroleum gas, alumina, mineral sands, fertilisers, Sulphur and other bulk commodities.

Of Australia's five major capital city ports, Fremantle is the closest to Singapore and is well positioned for trade with Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. It is also the first or last port of call for many ships visiting Australia.

SITE FEATURES
The site is located at the entrance to the Port and directly opposite Port Beach. Access to the site is via a slip lane along Port Beach Road from the north and specific turning lane off Port Beach Road from the south. The site is in a good location and has excellent exposure.

Friday 11th December 2020
