Tender Description
The Northland District Health Board (NDHB) is seeking construction contractor services for a new Acute Stroke Unit and associated spaces.
The works are prioritised within a minor works portfolio with 6 ASU beds to be added to the ward and the Physio gym and OT therapy kitchen to be relocated onto the fourth floor service wing.
As such the works will need to be staged in such a way to enable continued care and use within existing rehabilitation facilities. Works involve relocating admin staff from the 4th floor service wing to Maunu House.
Key requirements of the contractor include;
- All aspects of construction through to commissioning and completion.
- All territorial authority requirements throughout construction including compliance documentation to occupy the building.
- All completion documentation as required.
- Comprehensive programming and completion by September 2021
