Tender Description
The proposed aged care renovation for Ngukurr and Numbulwar includes the following upgrades and renovations:
Numbulwar Aged Care Facility:
Better storage is required in the kitchen and laundry, removal of a dividing wall to open up the facility and allow more activities in the centre, new fitted shade cloth to cool the building and the veranda, close in the carport to protect the bus from vandalism and salt air, increase the number of power points, lighting and install an exhaust fan in the kitchen.
Ngukurr Aged Care Facility:
Raise the main floor area throughout, replace 4 rusted posts under the front of the building and 4 rusted joists under the laundry and veranda, replace male and female toilet/shower, improve the direct access to allow for new wider doors, replace and upgrade the kitchen and associated storage, paint inside and out replacing some damaged outside cladding.
