Hinchinbrook Shire Council (HSC) was activated for Restoration of Essential Public Assets (REPA) and Betterment funding under the North & Far North Queensland Monsoon Trough.
Yuruga Road, located at Waterview Creek being one of the successful projects approved for funding.
This Betterment Project comprises of constructing concrete relieving slabs to both approaches plus concrete aprons to toe of batter. Due to the severe erosion experienced during the event, earthworks under the relieving slabs will be necessary.
Tenderers to be aware that the culvert is a designated Red Fishway and all construction activity must be restricted to the area within the scope of works.
