Alcohol & Other Drugs Treatment Services

⁠⁠⁠Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) issues impact the health, social, and economic wellbeing of individuals, families and the whole community. Harms from alcohol and other drug use include injury, disease, risky behaviour, mental health issues, violence, and other criminal behaviours. Harms also include social, family and financial problems.

Country SA PHN (CSAPHN) is seeking to commission treatment services to ensure continuity of access to services and to address identified service gaps for mainstream populations and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the CSAPHN region.

Services to be commissioned are intended to provide individuals and communities with access to a range of AOD interventions. AOD treatment services will need to be adapted to the needs and environment of individuals; encompassing a holistic view of health and engagement with other health care providers such as general practitioners and mental health care workers.

CSAPHN invites applications from eligible organisations to provide core AOD service provision from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2023 and/or Innovative Interventions for the period 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022.
