Tender Description
The Shire of Coorow (Shire) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced commercial builders to undertake Design and Construction (D&C) of the upgrade of the Coorow swimming pool located at 22 Long St, Coorow.
The Scope of Works includes 3 Stages. The envisaged scope of this tender is for Stage 1, however subject to pricing and potential further funding, the Shire seeks tenders firstly for design of Stages 1, 2 & 3 followed by Construction (as a separable portion) for Stages 1, 2 & 3. The Shire may decide to mix and match between stages dependent upon tender pricing and availability of other sources of funding.
The scope includes, but not limited to the following:
- Upgrade Main and Junior Pools (Stage 1)
- Upgrade Pool Plantroom including Water Circulation, Filtration and Sanitisation systems (Stage 1)
- Upgrade the existing Change rooms and Ablution Block (Stage 1) or Construct new Change rooms and Ablution Block (Stage 2)
- Construct new Entry, Office, Kiosk, Storeroom & Life Savers Office (Stage 3)
- Associated Civil & Land- scaping Works (Stage 1)
- Security and carpark (Stage 3)
Suppliers meeting the requirements of the above tender scope of works are invited to apply.
Late Tenders will not be accepted. Facsimiles or hardcopy tenders will not be accepted. The Shire of Coorow does not intend to submit a tender.
A mandatory site meeting for all Tenderers will be scheduled to fully understand the scope of work and raise any technical queries at this meeting.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Canvassing of Shire of Coorow Councillors or employees will disqualify.
