Tender Description

The Department of Environment and Science is seeking to engage a suitably experienced and qualified Supplier to develop a customised training package and instructional video/visual guide (or similar) in line with the accredited course - install, maintain and repair farm fencing (AHCINF202) and the specific standards and requirements of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services and Partnerships (QPWS&P) in relation to fencing works in the Cape York area.

Upon the successful development of the fencing training Program and instructional video/visual guide (or similar), the successful Supplier will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of the training to approximately 30 individuals over multiple isolated locations in the Cape York Area.

Additional training courses may be included in addition to the fencing training to better support trainees in completing all necessary roles of fence line construction and maintenance. This may include the inclusion of training such as (but not limited to);

  • Operating tractors (AHCMOM202),
  • Operate side by side training (AHCMOM216)
  • Operate and maintain chainsaws (AHCMOM213)
  • Control weeds (AHCPMG301) or similar (i.e. ACDC or Chemcert)
  • Load and unload goods/cargo (TLID2004)
  • Secure Cargo (TLIA1001) (i.e. Load Restraint)
  • Transport and store chemicals (AHCCHM304)

These additional courses will be considered once training locations and attendees are known and their additional training needs assessed.
