Southern Queensland Correctional Precinct Stage 2 - Electrical Services

⁠⁠⁠The scope of electrical services includes the supply, installation, testing, commission of the High Voltage and Low Voltage system. The electrical services will require detailed coordination with other trades in accordance with the John Holland Digital Engineering Management Plan (DEMP). The electrical trade is to co-ordinate with the with the hydraulics subcontractor who will be the lead services co-ordinator for all below ground and below-slab services – that is the lead federator of the 3D model and the Mechanical subcontractor who will be the lead all above-slab services. Specific scope for Electrical Services includes the following components:
• High voltage infrastructure works including transformers, RMU, cabling and associated works;
• High voltage and low voltage pits and conduits for the infrastructure works;
• High Voltage generator upgrade and interfacing into the existing high voltage network;
• Low voltage services to all buildings;
• High voltage and low voltage cable management systems for all buildings;
• Building lightning protection systems;
• Internal and external lighting systems;
• Uninterruptable power supply system (UPS);
• Main Switch boards, distribution boards and UPS boards;
• Submission of workshop drawings, samples and sample technical data for review and acceptance;
• Revit shop drawings;
• Comprehensive commissioning and site validation testing;
• Submission of Operation and Maintenance manuals via OMTRAK or similar; and
• Comprehensive maintenance during defects liability period
