Edderton Road Upgrade Work

This is a Lump Sum contract. The quantities provided in the bill of quantities are estimated quantities only. Tenderers are advised to insert the accurate quantities of items, to complete works as per the drawings and specifications, provide rates and extend to show the amounts. Total of the extended items will provide the lump sum tender price.

The bill of quantities is provided for two separate portions of the job. That is section 1 is for the works from chainage CH6.0 to CH7.0 and Section 2 is for the works chainage CH7.0 to CH8.0.

Council may consider awarding the tender for upgrade works on a single section or both sections together. Therefore, tenderers are advised to provide the tender prices for two separate sections considering that the contract may be awarded for one section only. Tenderers are also advised to provide a price reduction from the tender prices should the Council award the contract for both sections as a one contract.

Tenderers may conduct site inspections on their own behalf or by arrangement with the Council's contact person and MUST attend the pre-tender briefing meeting in order to submit a conforming tender. Due to COVID -19 restrictions, only one representative will be allowed to attend the Pre-tender meeting.
