The water supply responsibilities of North East Water (NEW) include the operation of the Mount Beauty potable water supply systems. To improve the supply to the township of Mount Beauty several watermains are to be renewed. The watermains are as follows: Freeburgh Avenue 270m of 100mm, Valley Avenue 300m of 100mm, McKay Street 296m of 100mm and Lakeside Avenue 405m of 100mm. As a result, North East Water is seeking suitably qualified contractors to design and construct the proposed watermains throughout the township of Mt Beauty.
The water supply responsibilities of North East Water (NEW) include the operation of the Mount Beauty portable water supply system and to improve this supply several water mains are to be renewed.
- Valley Avenue: 287m of 100mm diameter
- 2 – 26 Freeburg Avenue: 250m of 100mm diameter
- 44 – 66 Freeburg Avenue: 300m of 100mm diameter
- Nelse St: 100m of 100mm diameter,
- 2 – 28 McKay Street: 275m of 100mm diameter
- Lakeside Avenue: 360m of 100mm diameter
North East Water is seeking suitably qualified contractors to construct these new water mains throughout the township of Mount Beauty.
