Tender Description
Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified contractors to undertake the following project within the Coonamble Shire Council’s local government area:
- Seven (7) kilometres (km) of reforming the existing road, including table drains (with a specific focus on proper drainage being restored and/or created);
- Haulage of approximately 7,000 tonne of road material from a pit located 25km from the project;
- Re-sheeting the road from chainage 21.5 to 28.5 to a width of seven (7) metres and a depth of 100 millimetres.
This work is of an urgent nature and must be completed by 31 December 2020.
Kindly note that local contractors known to Council have already been provided with a copy of this notice. This published notice serves the purpose of providing—in the interest of openness and transparency—an opportunity to all other potentially interested contractors to participate in this procurement prospect.
