Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is seeking proposals for the construction of new viewing platforms at Bishops Drive, Gladstone.

An agreement between GPC and Gladstone Regional Council is currently being finalised which will allow this project to proceed, subject to final approvals.

Alternative Design Concepts Welcome

GPC has developed a detailed design and specification outlining its requirements for the platforms.

However, given the steep terrain at the Site, Bidders are welcome to propose alternative design concepts (to suit their preferred construction methodology) on the proviso that the same architectural and functional outcomes are achieved.

Project Timeline

Subject to proposals received and project approvals, GPC’s preferred project timeline is for the new viewing platforms to be complete and operational by the end of December 2021 based on a tentative contract award date of March 2021.
