Tender Description
The Department of Transport and Main Roads is establishing a new whole of Government Standing Offer Arrangement called the Infrastructure Building and Construction Panel (IBCP), which will replace the current Engineering Consultancy Scheme (ECS).
The panel seeks to make it easier for suppliers to do business with government and increase engagement opportunities. The TMR categories within IBCP will be aligned to utilise the same category names as described in the Manual for Consultants for Engineering Projects (CFEP), Contract Administration and Environment and Cultural Heritage categories, and there will be additional project management categories.
The existing Engineering Consultant Scheme will continue to operate until early in 2021.
A staged application process will be utilised. TMR is seeking applications from prequalified suppliers in the following order:
- Tranche 1 – 30th October 2020 – Invitation of Manual for Consultants for Engineering Projects categories (CFEP);
- Tranche 2 – January 2021 – Invitation of Contract Administration categories;
- Tranche 3 – March 2021 – Invitation of Environment and Cultural Heritage categories;
- Tranche 4 – May 2021 – Invitation of Project Management categories.
The closing date and time for the for Tranche 1 is 19th November 2020 at 11.00am (AEST).
TMR will hold two online Q&A sessions via Microsoft Teams on the IBCP Release: Session 1 - 5 November 2020, 2:00 to 3:00pm and Session 2 (repeat) - 12 November 2020, 2:00 to 3:00pm.
Suppliers interested in participating should send their an email nominating the session they wish to attend to email IBCP@tmr.qld.gov.au by following closing dates.
Confirmation for Session 1 by CoB 4th November 2020
for Session 2 by CoB 10th November 2020.
Suppliers should notify in the email, the session they are interested in participating.
