Independent Environmental Representative - Sydney Metro West (SMW) & Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport (SMWSA)
Sydney Metro is committed to the highest standard of environmental and sustainability performance for the design, construction and operations of our railways. A key requirement for Sydney Metro and its contractors is to ensure compliance with statutory obligations, especially with respect to the critical state significant planning approvals issued for the projects. The role of the independent Environmental Representative is integral to the success of meeting these requirements.
The Service Provider is responsible for providing specialist environmental advice and services to the Principal in respect of the Sydney Metro West project, including the various works packages and all relevant planning approvals.
For Sydney Metro West, the requirement is for at least two (s) experienced Independent Environmental Representatives (ER) who are supported by an alternate ER for the first two (2) years of the project. The successful Services Provider must be able to demonstrate an ability to increase to the number of ER to at least 3 to meet the relevant delivery strategy from year three (3) onward.
For Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport, the requirement is for at least two (2) experienced Independent Environmental Representatives (ER) who are supported by an alternate ER for the term of engagement. The successful Services Provider must be able to demonstrate an ability to increase to the number of ER to meet the relevant delivery strategy.
