This procurement opportunity relates to the construction and onsite installation of modular, reusable and transportable buildings to be used to create a self-contained construction village in Ranfurly.
This Transpower Construction Village (the village) will be used to house and support workers who will be undertaking reconductoring work on transmission lines between Roxburgh and Livingston as part of Transpower’s Clutha Upper Waitaki Lines Project (CUWLP). We are looking to engage an experienced supplier with the capacity and capability to construct, deliver and install approximately 50 individual accommodation units, a modular office and communal area which includes the kitchen, dining and lounge areas.
The Transpower Construction Village is required to meet an aggressive timeframe of having a fully functioning village in place by no later than 29 July 2021. At the end of CUWLP, Transpower would look to relocate these buildings to support other projects over the next 10+ years that would benefit from a temporary construction village.
