Tender Description
The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform suppliers of the upcoming release of a Request for Tender (RFT) for TC124/20: Harrisons Cut Road Stabilisation Construction 'project'.
The scope will include, the installation of a new retaining wall along the stream bed line of the Harrison's Cut Access Way. The retaining wall consists of Redi Rock Mass blocks and has varying overall retaining height of 2.29m up to 4.57m. The total length of the wall is about 155m.
Along with the installation of the retaining wall, associated bulk earthworks will need to be reinstated as well affected infrastructure of the access way (new pavement/surfacing, kerb/channel, line marking and signage). A new 2m wide pedestrian footbath will form part of the finished works, as well as, a new overflow gravel parking area. Landscaping will also be required.
This is a one stage procurement process.
