Tender Description

Kyogle Council is seeking tenders to undertake the replacement of the Cedar Point Bridge (currently a 98m long, single lane bridge across the Richmond River). The proposed contract is based on a design that incorporates a Council supplied steel-truss superstructure to be placed on two of the existing piers, with new abutments, and demolition of the redundant components of the existing bridge. However, Council also welcomes tenders for the design and construction of an alternate structure for its consideration, as detailed in Clause 5.4 of the Conditions of Tendering.

Alternative tenders will be accepted, without the need to also submit a conforming tender.
Please refer to attached documents for full details of the contract.

A pre-tender meeting will be held on Thursday 5 November 2020, at 10am, starting at Kyogle Council's Administration building: 1 Stratheden St, Kyogle. Refer Clause 5.3 of the Conditions of Tendering for more information.
