Tender Description
Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced organisation for the provision of upgrading the Sutherland Memorial School of Arts (SMSOA) building. The SMSOA is a War Memorial Hall building and the intent of the upgrade is to improve the functioning of the building as a multi-purpose, theatre and function space. The works include building fabric repairs, upgrade of fire safety, refurbishment of exterior and replacement of entry awning, refurbishment of some interiors and landscaping of internal courtyards. The SMSOA is listed as an item of local heritage significance (Item No. 3612) under
Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2015 (SSLEP 2015). A detailed client brief / specification outlining the extent of services required by Council is set out in Part 5 of this RFT.
