The Principal is seeking Submissions from suitably qualified Contractors for:

Separable Portion A Design, Supply and Construction of a Groundwater Extraction Bore at Newman Refuse Site.

Separable Portion B Supply and Installation of a Storage Tank and Associated Infrastructure at Newman Refuse Site.

The Newman Refuse Site does not have access to a reliable source of water to operate and manage the site. Newman Refuse Site is located at the end of Yates Road, refer to Part 6 - Appendix 6.4. Water is currently sourced from a BHP owned water line that does not provide sufficient pressure and experiences frequent disruptions. A reliable water source on site is critical for fire mitigation, dust suppression and irrigation. Therefore, the Principal requires the installation of a groundwater extraction bore with associated pumps, solar power system and water storage to ensure the permanent availability of water at the site. The Principal has acquired DWER approval and licences to take water and construct a bore on the site.
