RFP for the Provision of Facilitator Services for Student Clinical Placements

⁠⁠⁠Australian Catholic University (ACU) was established in 1990 through incorporation as a public company limited by guarantee, incorporated pursuant to the Corporations Act. ACU is a public university, funded by the Commonwealth Government, and is open to students and staff of all religious beliefs.

ACU has a number of research institutes and four (4) faculties: Education and Arts, Health Sciences, Law and Business and Theology and Philosophy.

The University has approximately 35,000 students and 2,500 staff spread across seven (7) campuses: Melbourne, Ballarat, Strathfield, North Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, and Adelaide. Headquarters are located in North Sydney.

ACU invites proposals from appropriate and suitably qualified organisations for the supply of suitably qualified and competent casual and temporary Registered Nurses (RNs), to act as Clinical Placement Facilitators for undergraduate student nurses. Facilitators must be currently compliant in the NSW Health ClinConnect system and be competent in the clinical setting specified by ACU.

This RFP process, and any ensuing contract arising from it, will apply specifically to students enrolled at North Sydney and Blacktown campuses.
