Expression of Interest Helicopter Services

⁠⁠⁠Expressions of Interest are called for helicopter contractors for assistance during the wet season, for resupply, in case of activation of Richmond Shire Council’s Local Disaster Management Plan. Interested parties should state the following in writing:

• Number of seats/ capacity of aircraft (kg)/ cost of hire – Must specify:
• Whether wet/dry hire
• If dry hire must estimate cost of fuel per litre
• Nominated cost per hour
• GST inclusive/exclusive
• Other incidentals
• Name of Company/ Individual and ABN number (If applicable)
• Name of bank and bank account details for EFT Payment
• Contact details including any satellite phone number
• Public liability insurance
• CASA Certification – Charter of Air Service only
• Location of base
• Any other relevant information

The Local Disaster Management Group will consider all submissions and refer to the District Disaster Management Group for approval prior to appointment of any contractors. For contractors to be paid under the Natural Disaster Relief Arrangements this process must be followed. Help Richmond get ready for the unknown to service our isolated properties if assistance is required.
