Digital Integration Grants for Improving After Hours Care in the Allied Health Sector

⁠⁠⁠Primary Health Tasmania invites interested and eligible allied health organisations to apply for a small grant to allow your allied health service to more easily share and access online patient health information at any time day or night.

What is the opportunity?

Primary Health Tasmania is offering small grants of up to $10,000 to assist eligible allied health service organisations connect to online systems so they can share and access patient health information. This funding is available from January 2021 and must be used by 30 June 2021. This is a limited opportunity with only one funding round.

Why are these grants being offered?

These grants will help allied health providers contribute to more appropriate and streamlined care for Tasmanians by ensuring health information is readily available at any time day or night.

What can the funds be used for?

- IT support to connect to My Health Record and/or the Tasmanian eReferral system

- software and licencing costs to transition to clinical software that facilitates connection to My Health Record

- costs associated with transitioning to using My Health Record and/or Tasmanian eReferral system including staff training, planning time, data sharing and evaluation activities.

- to participate in digital health training sessions provided by Primary Health Tasmania
