Tender Description
The construction of a new amenities building to replace the existing dilapidated asbestos structure is one of Councils' key Projects for 2020/21. The amenities will include the demolition of the existing structure and constructing a brand new change room, first aid room, office and kiosk to support the community of lake Cargelligo.
The new amenities building will be of brick veneer construction with a skillion roof, clad in colourbond steel. The canteen will be constructed to comply with the applicable Australian Standards.
The Lake Cargelligo Swimming Pool Amenity has been designed in consultation with the pool user groups and the community as a whole.
The key date for the project are governed by the closing date of 20/21 swimming season being generally Easter 2021 and the start of the swimming season 2021/22 being September 2021. The required completion date is the 20 August 2021.
