Consultancy Services (Supply Of Planning and Design - Cycling Infrastructure Services

⁠⁠⁠The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking the service of a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to supply Planning and Design for Cycling Infrastructure Services within the Principals municipal boundaries.

Refer to B05 - City of Cockburn Cycling and Walking Network Plan 2016-2021.

The consultant will be working remotely, but on occasion, as required, will work out of the Principals offices and will also, on the request of the Principal, conduct regular site visits as requested.

The Principal is a Local Government Authority located about 24 kilometres south of Perth's central business district.

The Principal performs its functions in accordance with the Local Government Act (WA) 1995 and among other statutory obligations under a wide range of state and federal legislation; the Principal has the responsibility for the orderly planning of the district under the Town Planning and Development Act (WA) 1928.

Suburbs administered include: Atwell, Aubin Grove, Banjup, Beeliar, Bibra Lake, Cockburn Central, Coogee, Coolbellup, Hamilton Hill, Hammond Park, Henderson, Jandakot, Lake Coogee, Leeming (part), Munster, North Coogee, North Lake, South Lake, Spearwood, Success, Treeby, Wattleup and Yangebup.

The proposed Contract shall be in place for a principal period of three (3) years from the date of award; with Principal instigated options to extend the period for a subsequent twelve (12) month period and up to an additional twelve (12) months after that, to a maximum of five (5) years.

The Contract is expected to commence in late November 2020.
