Food Vendors for 2020 Leavers Meelup Beach Day

⁠⁠⁠The South West Leavers Planning Group is seeking expressions of interest from food vendors to operate a food stall at the 2020 Leavers Meelup Beach Day. An important component of the Leavers harm minimisation strategy is the availability of wholesome food choices at affordable prices.

Note: only local community groups and locally registered food vendors will be considered for this event.
Dates: Wednesday 25 November 2020.
Time: 11:00am - 3:00pm Location: Meelup Beach.
Note: this site is unpowered so food vendors must provide their own power and infrastructure.

An expression of interest by your local community group/business is to include:
· The name of your group/ business;
· If a community group, your role within the local community and what the funds will be directed towards;
· The items you would like to sell along with prices;
· Information on how you will staff the stall while beach day is in operation;
· If your expression of interest is successful, your group/business will need to comply with the City's food safety/environmental health requirements (including a WA Government COVID safety plan - guidelines will be provided).

In addition:
All volunteers are required to:
· Be a minimum of 18 years of age;
· Have a Working with Children Card or be prepared to have a police check conducted;
· Be prepared to sign a Code of Conduct;
· Wear identifying volunteer clothing and ID or name badge.
