Victorian Health and Human Services Building Authority (VHHSBA) is intending to release an Expression of Interest (EOI) in the 4th quarter of 2020 and Request for Tender (RFT) in mid-2021 for the construction of an expansion of Latrobe Regional Hospital located in Traralgon, Victoria to provide expanded health services to the region.
To address the projected increase in service demand for inpatient, surgery and maternity services at LRH, a $217 million upgrade and expansion of the hospital’s facilities is proposed to ensure it is fit-for-purpose and can meet the future needs of the community.
The nature of the Stage 3A works generally relates to new building works on existing cleared land and fit out of existing Stage 2 shell spaces to replace existing infrastructure.
