Tender Description
Tamworth Regional Council (Council) is seeking a suitably experienced and competent contractor to reconstruct the cantilevered channel edge beam at the Tamworth Olympic pool due to advanced reinforcement corrosion.
The damaged area is the full length of the pool on both the north and south sides (100m in total length).
Refer to Appendix A for photos showing the current beam condition
The works will require the removal and reconstruction of the section as shown in Appendix B- Construction Design.
All work shall be carried out in accordance with relevant standards and specifications and will require compliant scaffolding or equivalent and current Working at Heights Certification. The pool will remain empty and closed to the public for the duration of the work; the pool depth varies from approximately 1.5m to 3.5m
